VOLUNTEER GROUPS

Along with our community tree plantings and public volunteer events, SOUL hosts volunteer groups from colleges and universities, businesses and other organizations throughout the year to install and maintain our urban forest. We work hard to provide our volunteers with meaningful experiences that help improve New Orleans’ urban forest and green infrastructure.

If you have questions about volunteering with SOUL as a group or organization, please email Ellen Rogers. Volunteering with us consists of maintaining our urban forest through mulching, watering, surveying, treating, and/or pruning, or maintaining some other aspect of our green infrastructure. Get ready to get dirty and have a lot of fun! You’ll sleep well after volunteering with SOUL.
