Jazmin’s passion for green spaces is rooted in her commitment to connecting communities to nature. She began her career serving an AmeriCorps term with Friends of Lafitte Greenway, focusing on their trail completion campaign, environmental stewardship programming and community engagement. She went on to work in a local landscape architecture studio, contributing to the planning and design of regional trail systems, parks, and public spaces that champion nature-based solutions in the Gulf South and Northeast.

Outside of work, Jazmin enjoys reading, drawing, yoga, meditating, and cooking food from her Honduran hometown.
